Food Safety Training

Food safety training and certification in Alberta continue to be regulated by Alberta's Food Regulation (AR 31/2006) and enforced by Alberta Health Services (AHS).

Training is required as employees enter the workforce of a particular company, as well as refresher training to be conducted at least annually. Saltus offers a comprehensive training program to allow participants to deliver Food services with high quality standards as Health Inspectors in Alberta Health conduct regular routine inspections and have the authority to require this training for any staff member based on their findings.
