Forklift safety

Forklift safety courses are designed to meet regulatory standards like CSA B335-24 (the latest Canadian standard) or OHSA of Alberta guidelines, ensuring operators can safely handle equipment and perform mandatory inspections.

Training Modules

A comprehensive course covers both operational skills and safety inspections:

  • Pre-Operational Inspection: Daily "circle checks" to identify fluid leaks, worn tires, or malfunctioning safety devices before use.

  • Stability & Capacity: Understanding the "stability triangle," center of gravity, and how to read data plates to avoid tipping.

  • Safe Handling: Techniques for maneuvering in tight spaces, traveling on inclines, and proper load placement.

  • Fuel & Battery Safety: Procedures for refueling LPG tanks or safely charging and maintaining electric batteries.

  • Emergency Protocols: How to respond to mechanical failures or accidents.
