Course contents

• Scaffolding Inspection: It teaches how to check foundations, structural components, ties, and platforms. It also includes Using checklists and tagging systems (e.g., Scaff tag) to mark scaffolds as "Safe" or "Unsafe".

• Maintenance & Safety: Focuses on safe use, routine maintenance, and Identifying hazards such as damage or missing components, while Identifying when components like tube, clamps, or planks need replacement and understanding manufacturer load limits.

• Scaffolder Operative: Comprehensive programs for workers erecting and dismantling scaffolds, which include maintenance as part of the structural lifecycle.

• Hazard Identification: Recognition of common risks such as unstable ground, electrical clearances, and fall protection gaps.

• Regulatory Compliance: Training based on OHSA-Alberta
